VI. Magnetized Water.VI. Magnetisiertes Wasser.

The possibility of magic depends on two conditions: on magnetism’s being capable of exteriorization and of transfer. I must now set out the latter more closely, at least in one example, but I will not take man into consideration as the recipient, because too many factors would then have to be disentangled, but a lifeless substance, water, because here the process is simpler and clearer, and water is besides distinguished by a great capacity for od.

The magnetizers have always praised the healing power of magnetized water, and those went furthest in their praises who counted as masters in their art, Deleuze for example, whose writings still count among the best today and are indispensable for the physician in particular. They bear a scientific character throughout.1)
