Esoterica

Esoterica is a place for free inquiry: into alchemy, theology, psychology, medicine, the occult, and whatever else a serious reader brings. Disagreement, heterodoxy, and unpopular opinion are welcome. There are only three rules.

1. Sexuality, only as psychology or literature. Sexuality is discussed only as the psychology of sexuality, or in reference to non-pornographic literature. Nothing explicit, and nothing pornographic.
2. Nothing unlawful. No threats of violence, nothing that sexualizes a minor (it is reported to the authorities), no sale of illegal goods, and no one’s private information (addresses, phone numbers, and the like) posted without their consent.
3. No spam. No advertising, repeated posts, or links posted only to draw traffic elsewhere.

Moderators remove what breaks these rules, on their own discernment, and always say which rule and why. A removed message stays visible as removed, with its reason. A board’s keeper may delete it for good at any time while it is open. Public boards can be read by anyone, signed in or not, and found in search engines such as Google, unless their keeper turns that off; boards by invitation are never shown outside. Write accordingly: what you post on a public board is public. Moderators can read every board, including those by invitation, so that the rules hold everywhere. If a board of yours is removed, you may appeal once, with your reasons and any evidence; a different moderator decides, and that decision is final.

Esoterica is for readers eighteen and older. The press does not endorse what readers write here; each reader is responsible for their own words.
